Founded in 1993, Solaris Securities originally named Sound Investment Services, Inc was created as a small full service brokerage firm with the specific needs of the small investor in mind. Our mission was to tailor our services to the individual needs of each and every one of our clients. We specialized in individual one-on-one investment advice. Because we know the importance of investor confidence, (especially under the current market conditions) we made our investment advisors accessible to our clients any time. Not just during business hours.
Since then we have added the ability for our clients to directly and instantly access the markets through the use of our technologically superior on-line trading package Solaris Professional. We added this service because our clients who feel confident in their own investment decisions expressed a desire for it. We have not changed our company mission. Individual service, one client at a time is still and will always be our goal.
The future for Solaris and the reason for our name change is this, Global Access. In response to our clients desire to access the worlds markets, we have designed and are now in the process of testing our global trading platform.
